Moon from Letters to Twilight was lucky enough to attend an exclusive pre-screening of a rough cut of Remember Me, and she has a detailed look at what to expect from Rob's new film. Warning: some minor spoilers are included in this write-up.

I said it on Twitter and I'll say it again: "holy sex scenes batman." Um, wow. I think the men in the audience probably felt uncomfortable (or turned on) by the group moans and sighs all the women let out. I've also never been more glad Twilight doesn't have sex scenes. THANK YOU JESUS you know my heart couldn't handle that.
Rob and his friends banter has some really great one liners and funny moments. Big Brother Rob is pretty much to die for. The girl who plays his sister Caroline is a star waiting to happen.

It was great seeing him play a character! other than Edward! Tyler is definitely NOT Rob playing himsel! f, thoug h there were a few Robisms that made it endearing but I don't think Rob is anywhere near as intense or ready to throw down like this character is. With a few more edits, fixing a few plot points and shining up the beginning and end, then droping in a killer soundtrack: this will be a really nice film.

Anyone who is interested in issues of Islam in America must certainly go see the new Shahrukh Khan film My Name is Khan. Despite all of its Bollywood silliness and melodrama, the film is surprisingly discerning on the experiences of Muslims in American society. Though it is set almost entirely in the U.S. (beginning in San Francisco and ending in Georgia), this film will go down as one of the most important Bollywood movies Shahrukh Khan has ever done.

Most obviously of course, the film reminds audiences all around the world that Bollywood’s biggest star ever is in fact a non-violent Muslim (the film’s most repetitive line is “My name is Khan, and I am not a terrorist”). But it also does a number of other absolutely fascinating things, such as performing a reinterpretation of the Qur’anic Abraham-Ishmael story, and in a surprising turn, it spotlights the U.S.’s government abandonment of poor African-American communities.

Rizwan Khan, a Muslim from the Borivali section of Mumbai, suffers from Aspergers syndrome, a form of high-functioning autism that complicates socialization. Performances : Rest of the team performed very well

Sharukh Khan : Personally I dont like him. But in this movie, for his performance Iw anted to give him a bow. he was damn good. And he is the Main pillar for this movie. His acting touches your heart many times.
Kajol : Do I need to say more? She is simply awesome.

Music : Music is good, rerecording is top rate. good job by the noted trio sankar-eshan-loy.
Editing : editing is adequate it can be better
Cinematography : Cinematography was awesome. there is a scene that needs a mention here. When sharukh is going in search of President, in that context he walks lonely in a desert. That scene was captured form arial view and then the camera starts moving slowly, that scene was too good.
Story-screenplay-Direction : Story was not so great but the treatment was top rate. Screenplay is good with back n forth mode. But there should em some pace in the narration. movie seems very slow because of the basic plot and the pale scenes written around it. But when hero suffers with disorder and he is the persona to carry the entire film oblivious screenplay looks pale and thats a helpless thing any way.Karan did a supreb job with this film. there were some comments on him by RGV, but Karan came out of that in a bigway. Karan did a superb job.

The Crazies Hollywood Movie Review :
Just saw this at a matinée. Much better than I expected! Constant action with a great sense of pacing, tension-filled (the scene in the car wash is particularly terrifying). The acting is surprisingly strong for a Romero-related movie. Big budget too, which helps. The setting (Ogden Marsh, Iowa) is the perfect place for an outbreak-type movie- lots of great cinematography of vast, open fields and sky. While technically speaking, The Crazies is not exactly a zombie movie (the infected are still alive and somewhat intelligent), this is an interesting variation on the genre. Not as gory as the Dawn of the Dead remake, but still a lotta blood gets spilled. And the social commentary is still there, as well. Great remake and the best movie I've! seen this year.

but i liked it. i don't usually go to horror films but a premiere screening at the Vista was hard to resist. This film does not look cheap. The effects were good, the actors were believable, the thing kept moving. There's some graphic stuff, but it's a horror film and no real gross out factor. And it just kept coming, it was spare, not a lot of fat. It's not an original story and some things you know are going to reappear later, but because it kept moving, you didn't have time to dwell on the fact that they were coming ba! ck. It was kind of cool that when we walked up to the theater ! they mad e the marquee say "Ogden Marsh Cinemas".
